New IKEA PS Collection 2012 Promotes Sustainability and Good Design

IKEA PS  collection was recently unveiled by the Swedish giant at at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. The new collection consists of no less than 46 reinvented products, all of witch were rebuilt, using sustainable features:  “At IKEA, we never stop looking for better ways to do things. For the IKEA PS 2012 collection, we looked at our history for inspiration, and challenged our designers to bring their designs forward with innovative products that belong in the future. And of course, we asked them to do it all with affordability, as we believe good design belongs in real homes â€" everybody’s homes“.- says Janice Simonsen, IKEA US spokesperson. A total of 19 designers worked on the collection and you can take an extended look at all the items here. The IKE A PS 2012 collection will be available in Nordic countries in May and in U.S., starting August 2012.
