V-Shaped Residence in Argentina Defined by Dynamism and Fluidity
Located in Santa Fe, Argentina, Casa V was designed by MatÃas Blas Imbern+ Agustina González Cid and borrows its name from the shape of the residence. According to the architects, the idea for this project was to build a house around a patio without having to resort to a cloister, taking advantage of the irregular shape of the terrain. Measuring 210 square meters, on a lot of 800 square meters, the residence gives the impression of a fluid volume, a compact mass that was stretched, while preserving its continuity. The pool completes the appearance of the project and the whole assembly is surrounded by lush trees. Dynamism and fluidity are the features that characterize the strategy of this work, as well as the project’s relationship with its surrounding landscape. How would you comment on the features of this modern home?
