Watchmen (2009)

In 1977 was passed by U.S. Congress Keene Act, which prohibited the activities of masked crime-fighting. This caused many to leave the superhero career, as the Owl (Patrick Wilson) and Spectrum (Malin Akerman). Others, like the Comedian (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Dr. Manhattan (Billy Crudup), now working for the government. Two years before the implementation of this law Adrian Veidt (Matthew Goode) has decided to reveal his identity as Ozymandias, devoting himself thereafter to build an economic empire. In 1985 the world is the climate of the Cold War, in which a n uclear attack can happen at any time, from the United States or the Soviet Union. In this climate of political tension Edward Blake, the Comedian, is murdered. In attend his funeral, at different times, their former comrades. Among them is Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley), who believes his death is the indication of a masked killer.
